Branding
For our homage, we envisioned a simple gold calling card paired with a French tagline poking fun at the English poke bonnet.
Les visibles en tête-à-tête imagines Bertin’s witty response to the satirical cartoon Les Invisibles en tête-à-tête. Frustrated by the British poke bonnet’s habit of obscuring the face, we reimagined Bertin designing a collection of bonnets that, while veiled, left absolutely nothing to the imagination.
In the Bertin advert featured at the end of Volume Three, I asked the .ai to imagine Elizabeth's wedding. The result was La Mariée Anglaise – The English Bride.
