Daniel De St Leu
Dan St Leu delivers a mind-bendingly beautiful—if not outright bewildering—break from the magazine’s usual format. These objects weren’t planned. They appeared because the form and technology demanded it.
This small departure exists on its own terms. Not editorial. Not historical. Just objects so heavily ornamented they begin to tip into something else.
The branding draws from an original watch paper design, reworked with an olive leaf surround, borrowed and adapted from the original mark.
Pomander Timepiece
A spring-loaded table watch disguised as a blossom. Proof that timekeeping was once decorative, not discreet.
The Timeflower Pocket Watch
An enameled flourish of gold, blue, and green. Heavier than it looks. Not built for the pocket, but for admiration.
Tick and Pinch - Snuff Box
Time and snuff. A fusion of two Regency obsessions. The watch is almost an afterthought.
